Still loving your box KB!

Have you any future projects planned?

Hi Mark
Thanks for the kind words. Unfotunately, at the moment all I can really think about is what to do after I'm made redundant after 28 years with Amec on the railway. I should know my fate in January. Of course if I can find further employment straight away (And it could be  Network Rail, I'm told) my redundancy package will prove useful. I would love to own a dalek, although I would have nowhere to store it. Proud as I am of the met box, a dalek would be a different matter entirely in terms of building. Maybe, if my employment situation sorts it's self out, I may consider buying one.
Whatever happens I will remain on TR2 where I feel I have many friends.
Many thanks
KB

KB, the BBC are chucking me out next year too... I only have 4 years service though.

Good luck with whatever happens next :)

And the press get fed the scapegoats,

Hi All
Thanks for the support Mark and Marc. I'm sure things will turn out OK. Meanwhile the local press have been at it again. This time in the all colour monthly mag "Essentially Edenbridge".

I'm really glad they included Robert in the article, I couldn't have achieved what I did without his help.
Many thanks

Nice article, well done KB.

I've never been subject to and sort of press, but I think I'd be quite proud to have something like this, especially TARDIS related!

By the way, did you negotiate a good (£££) deal with Champions Timber, for the name check!

Congrats Chris! I'm envious. I wouldn't mind a bit of local coverage for building my box... except that no one around here watches Who  :-[
