Mine will fit inside as well only difference is mine doesn't fold like yours. Mine Is of a similar Idea though, Were doing finishing touches as well. Still have to get the signs made, Do the lighting, Put the Lock on the front door and paint it. Other than that it's almost done. I like how you did yours though.  Are you going to put lights in the Signs an Lamp on the top?

you got a great build here. sorry for this dumb question but how did you do the lettering for your sign boxes. i got my boxes made and got the sign's all cut now but i am just looking for some ideas on how to add the lettering.

I had them made. Printed a picture of what I wanted to achieve, took it to the shop. Had adhesive foils made. The letters are cut out. The lettering is Gill.
I had thought about doing it myself, like, painting or something, but the result wouldn't have been anywhere near that good!

Lighting the TARDIS: The lazy way

Originally, it was just the light test. I had thought of a single light bulb before, but wasn't sure if it would light the whole TARDIS. So I fixed my old working light to the roof to do a test.

And surprise: It did lit the whole build. Even the lamp on the roof! And so well that I decided I would leave it there. Lightening solved. :D

If you're in for an extra treat: As a fan of random and pointless projects, I posted a few photos on my twitpic account. The winter allegory, which is also my Christmas treat for the Internet, should delight Doctor Who fans:

It's looking quite splendid there Astrid!

I especially like your writings on the inside to denote how to put it all together ;D

I'm really looking forward to your movie you've made about the build.

You get extra geek points if you tell me which scarves we're wearing! ('cause they're two different kinds...) :)

I think you have a season 15/16 scarf...?

I could not see a 2nd one (apart from the mini one)...

1) 15/16? Wouldn't that be two different scarves? So.. no
2) I meant the mini one. It is the mini version of one of the scarves.
