This thread is a reference thread to cover the varying appearance of the top sign on the TARDIS.
By all means contribute reference information on this thread, and we will summarize it here in the first posting.

Some of the PDF's are black & white -- these can be adjusted by the print shop to whatever colour you want, or cut into a specific colour of vinyl, etc.

This is getting really good :) I was marvelling today at how detailed the Project
Dalek Forum and their plans have got.

I see this forum is moving nicely in that direction :)

Let me see if I can pull the top sign off the Newberry box from one of my grabs :)
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

That's somewhat intentional: we want to arrange that the forum has some static resource content to avoid so many similar questions coming up so often. Hopefully this will make information easier to find for everyone.
We do have some parallels with PDF/DBG, though I think PDF may be more tightly focused than we are.

Thats certainly true. I noticed a mod comment yesterday about TARDIS's creeping in to their forum...

This the same font as the previous signs for the older New Series boxes, it's just more of a solid white instead of transparent white.  It still lights up when backlit, some it has some translucence.

My attempt at a Brachaki top sign, in PDF format (vectorized).  Let me know what you think!

Looks wonderful! Very close to the imagery we have. Any info on fonts, or is it tracing?
I've installed it in the table at the top of the thread, presuming that you'd be happy with that.

Thanks!

You're quite welcome; glad to contribute.  It's built from the Mark 3 sign scans posted in the forum a few days back -- with a few of the letter shapes, sizing, and spacing modified as little as possible to conform to the Brachaki sign.

Heh heh, just for completism, my home made Bad Wolf roof sign!

BadWolfRoofSign.jpg

Also, could anyone point me towards a font for the "PUBLIC CALL" part of the Yardley Jones roof sign?  I've just noticed it's some kind of weird stretched font, plus the "P" and the "A" are somewhat "bottom-heavy" for want of a better expression.  I have huge lists of fonts and I don't seem to have anything comparable.
