Did you use it with a Low wattage bulb (ie a night light type)  or one of the energy saving bulbs?

Still got a bunch of things to do but gonna have to take it a little slower than before as theres a bunch of stuff in the home to do first.... life always seems gets in the way.

I am going to guess that your question was directed at me?  I purchased Energy Saving Bulbs from Home Depot that are called Party Bulbs because I wanted a Blue Light. Not sure what the Hartnell Box had  for a light as they were in B/W but since the Tom Baker series had a blue light I thought I would go Blue. Looks nice.

Love the phone, looks very much like something the Doctor would build.

gotta admit it's a one of a kind look you got there  8) Just love the phone.
Must add a warning about Home depot CFL bulbs from China, my buddy has a pic of one that caught fire in his bathroom. Only use US brands NOT CHINA!!! I have the pic. I must re-check mine to be safe. Sorry but I feel it's important to pass it along.

Never be sorry about passing on safety info. As the saying goes, "Better safe than sorry." If certain bulbs can (and do as in Larry's friend's case) catch fire, they could cause much more than loss of a TARDIS prop. They can cause loss of life or an entire home if it happens when the person is out, so this extends beyond prop building. People's safety is paramount; it's a pain to rebuild a prop, or repair a damaged house, but you can't rebuild a person. (Maybe posting one picture of what that bulb did wouldn't be a bad idea, provided it's not too gruesome?)

Opinions Please:

So I decided to black out the windows unlike the NST when the light is on the windows dont allow for any light to get out.... What do you think??

I know at the end of the day, Ive not stuck to any real plans here and its more my version of the TARDIS than an actual replica but just wanted to see what others thought....

Funny I come back to just look at the phone, man I love that phone Paul it's a killer.

Im thinking about changing the sign on the door to more a Tom Baker style blue with white writing.

What do you think?  I mean the entire build is a bit of a mish mash of different versions of the TARDIS..... I dunno its something Im thinking about.

I think you may be bored, it looks great. Maybe you need a new project Paul. I understand the desire to tweak things a bit. What ever you do I am sure it will look great.
