After getting a poster of the crack (matt smith first episode), my son and i were a bit disappointed with it so after a couple of length of timber, screws, paint and a light  ;D the crack (lightbox off).jpglightbox on.jpg
happy when using my hands...:D

Now that's a crack to be proud of. (I'm guessing that doesn't sound quite right :-\.) I bet that looks great hanging on the wall... with the lights turned out. (Now that would be one heck of a nightlight - make that anti-nightlight - for a kid's room! "Behave and go to sleep now, Junior, or I'll open that crack and let Prisoner Zero get you!")

Strangely enough, The Evil One posted this photo on her Facebook page...
EvilOneCrack.jpg
...and tagged it with "I find this disconcerting to have in my room."

She found it her dorm room window shade one day, when she pulled down the shade. As she said on the phone, she was having one of those unusually bad days when everything seems to go wrong, she had a headache that wouldn't go away, so when she got back to her room "I pulled down the shade on the window next to my bed for the first time, to block the sun, and found this staring me in the face! I hoped it was not an omen."

Funny how reality imitates fiction, isn't it? (But then I've always said reality sucks. Last week proved that to us all.)

Do you have any construction pictures?

Beautifully done!  I'd love to have one of those mounted on the wall in my house but I seriously doubt my wife would approve.   ::)  She wants me to keep the geekery to a minimum in the decor.  LOL!  Once we have a larger house I'll have my Geek Cave and can go bananas with my props collections and such.  Then I'll certainly be looking into a few lighted posters like the crack and maybe one of the Tardis in flight where the windows and signs are lit and the top light flashes.

There's a thought: since you've done that one how about mating it with one of the Tardis in flight with lights like I described above?

Very cool! How did you get the light to fill the whole crack? Does anyone know, I've been trying to solve this problem for ages.

Oblivion

That's really smart, I love it  ;D

Could you post a link to that NASA picture? This is the first I've heard about that and I'd love to see it!
