I was reading someone was drawing up plans for the Newbury Tardis Police Box and thought, "how tall is Tom Baker?" .... maybe this will aid Tardis builders when building your Police Boxes and consoles.

why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.
Oh? - I'm researching the new edition.

Nice job, and will be useful for a lot of people... including me, if I ever decide to go my own way with a new build. Can I just point something out?
Troughton was no where near 5'9", that is just what his agency say because, they lie about things like this to try to make their actor sound more attractive. He was closer to 5'6", perhaps slightly smaller.
And, as a thought, yyeahh, McGann. Everyone always expects him to be taller don't they? I used to thing he was over 6' until I met him at a signing. I was quite shocked that, even as my 15 year-old self (jeez, back just before the return of Who, I think), I towered over him (must have been about 5'11" at that age, sommin' like that). It was quite a shocking moment, for me, actually lol :)
Isn't it how ironic that we have to think of solutions out of the box, in order to build our boxes a lot of the time?

Yeah, it's sometimes amazing when you meet actors and realize how tall they are. Back in 1996, when I was still 5'10" (before the back surgeries and I ended up at 5'9"), I got to meet Claudia Christian (Ivanova from "Babylon 5"), and she towered over me! I thought of her co-stars on "B5" and how they always seemed to tower over her and wondered, were they really super tall? Did they have them stand on boxes or give them lift shoes when they stood next to her? Or did they have her stand in a hole? I mean, how tall is Bruce Boxlightner?

My kids were really the lucky ones. They were 6 and 11 then, and she really took a liking to them when she visited the Con Suite. She carted them off and with the exception of going to sleep at night she kept them with her.

The late Majel Barret Roddenberry was also at that Con, and she's another one who is rather tall, at least she was a little taller than me at the time.
