 I built this in the 90's.  This console had more regenerations than the Doctor.  Consiquently... The pictures taken were done 30 min before I started taking it apart for the last time.  Why?  Because everything was falling apart!

, Here is the mechanic's.  Simple chain drive using support rods that slide inside each other.  Unfortunately  I made alot of it with a combination of metals which inturn ruined it over time and use.  Magnificant effect though.
