I don't own the book anymore but I recall that Mike Tucker talks in the co-written with Sophie Aldred book "Ace - The Inside Story of the End of an era" about working on Dimensions in Time.

I'm sure he says how he used the original console moulds to create the Rani's TARDIS console and had a load of red buttons made.

I'd always assumed the console was just the original, repainted and with new buttons. Interesting. If there was a separate one made for DiT, I wonder what ended up happening with it.

Tangential perhaps, but what happened to the Rani's original console from The Mark of the Rani? Was it another victim of "warped in storage"?

Oh I didn't mean THOSE measurements, I meant the width height etc, rather than what its kg was :-D
