Nice one Steven! Looks nice and solid, and a good choice of blue too! Your hard work has really paid off. Where did you find a bulb like that? I haven't seen one of those before.

cheers
Chris

Thanks Chris,
I "borrowed" the bulb from work. When we order them the company lists them as mini Dalek bulbs lol.
My boss was so excited to tell me when they got them in stock.
They cost about £6 and are small LED lights, yet give off a nice ( slightly blue ) light.
It does the job and will save me changing it for 5 years :)

Thats one tasty TARDIS. Well done that Man!!!  8-)

The bulb looks very intriguing I take it it runs on Mains 240v.

Love the idea of the TARDIS Easter egg Sound effect something I would do Just press look and listen. :P

I have a remote controlled  stereo system set up in my garage that lets rip with Dalek dialogue and the original theme tune that scares the living daylights out of people who visit our house and wish to see my Dalek and 1/3rd scale TARDIS.
Neighbours now raise eyes to the sky with,  oh, hes at it again look.  ::) ::) ::)

Im beginning to see a full size TARDIS materialising in our back garden. Oh Hell!!  :o (No, its not the magic mushrooms) ;)

All these nice full size builds its got me thinking!!

Only 2 problems, (Only he says)  are space and her indoors, mind you the house guttering  does need a lick of paint before anything else.

Ah Well, a full size TARDIS she wont wear that Im certain.

I'm now debating ( having seen the new new Tardis ) if I should paint it to look like the Matt Smith one or not.
Does anyone have a large St John's Ambulance logo they can send me???

RE: NNST == Oh my she looks good.....this is my first look at her. New paint, new badge, white windows and a fresnel...same NST box ?? just glam'd up.
11 in a bow tie? going the opposite way from 10's GQ look I suppose.
What would the Doctor do?

I decided to keep to the 9th and 10th Doctor look as I likeit the most.
It has taken me ages to rest her on the floor and put the light in so it's on all through the night but it's now done and she looks so cool from the street and night all lit up like a Christmas Tree :)
I am so happy with how she ended up with all the trips to the hospital and money it cost to build.

That looks really splendid! You must be one happy guy.
If you do a photo shoot of your TARDIS, make yourself a thread in the TARDIS Gallery and put up some glam shots for us.

That is one sweet looking build!

I certainly understand the money issue. Wow I thought the most expensive part of the build was the box itself, WRONG!

Working on the windows of my build and so far they have cost about $150.

I agree with Crispin, would love to see some glamour shots of your build!

I would like to take some better photos. The location is a bit, well, nasty for glamor.
I wanted to take one with my other props so may do that at some point

Mate, looking awesome! I sure wish I could park mine outside when it's done but that kind of defeats the purpose of making mine dismantle-able the same as the original prop is. I don't think it'd be able to be packed up AND waterproof at the same time. I just need a place with a high ceiling methinks! :-D

The UK had a little snow so had to take a photo

I want to take some in the sun but don't think it will last the night and still look good.
