I would like to make some parts, like the fiber optic and neon tubes if i get them, move, up and down, timed with the TARDIS landing noise, whats the best thing to use..motor or whatever
and can that be started with a motion sensor so when my TARDIS door opens, it starts, lights up, moves, plays the noise, and the light above my TARDIS door flashes? or at least have the sound on a motion sensor, im no good with this, any tips on that?
Maybe computer operated, idk, id rather it not be a flick a switch to do it kind of thing, i want to amaze people with its "automatic-ness" please help!! thanks!!

Hey there,

The way I would do is would is design a circuit with a strong servo motor or a couple of servo motors, then when you build it, just attach a couple of doo-hickies and set it up so it moves your column. If it doesn't then either think about the material your using for your column or add in move servo motors or get stronger ones. Trial and error really.
