Hi Tom,

Just (re)checked your thread. Your pebbled glass looks even better (smaller scales).
I especially like the refractions when it's lit. Hopefully my glass will have the same effect.
I am a bit worried about cutting though.
Do you have any tips or suggestions to prevent cracking? :o

Hi everyone,

No, I haven't been timetravelling with the TARDIS (wish I could); I'm still around.  ;D

The last couple of months have been very hectic. As you may know I'm a graphic designer by profession, but became burnt-out a couple of years ago. I recovered for the most part and am now trying to start a new (part-time) career as a graphic design teacher. At the moment I'm busy trying to find a suitable job.

Unfortunately this means my TARDIS-build is on hold for now, but I'm aching to get started again. Once I found a job and things settle down, I'll be back with more pictures. See you soon! ;)

Hi everybody,

I haven't posted for about four months and I'm sorry about that :-[
My life has been (and still is) very hectic. I'm struggling to find a parttime job as a graphic designer (it seems that there are only fulltime jobs?), so my TARDIS build is on hold for now.

I also lost another one of my cats; Ollie sadly died of kidney-failure :'(

After much grieving, I decided to adopt two new young cats to keep Noortje (my last cat) company. Jimmie & Jamie are brother and sister, about one year old and very busy :D

I still visit this forum from time to time to view all your beautiful builds. Hopefully I can contribute again some time soon. For now, good luck on your builds; I'll be back!

Marcel

P.S. Purple, I swopped the rather big pictures in my previous posts for (clickable) thumbnails; hope you like it better this way ;)

This is our cat, Mitsy who's 15. Quite alot of the time she thinks she's the Queen of the castle and a little better than the rest of us.

But the rest of the time she's mad as a hatter! ;D

Hey Marcel, sorry to hear about your job situ, and the passing of your cat.  Pets really are members of the family, and I got so sick of being ripped apart every time one died, I found a permanent solution... robodog!!!
