I wanted to make the windows the simplest way I could,  so I cut the perspex sheet i had to size, roughed both sides with 120 grit sandpaper to make them opaque and then simply glued the frame and "glazing bars" straight onto the sheet with no nails. The frame and bars are made from 6mm by 18mm pine strip.

I also painted the frames and bars first before gluing as all that cutting in after-wards would be a real pain I should imagine.

I haven't been able to do too much work recently on the Tardis due to a slipped disc but, hopefully, I'll be continuing soon and will then post some more pics.

Good luck with your build mate, it would be good to see some pics of your progress.
