Robotic Companions

I've both seen and admired everyones Tardis concepts, and it got me wondering... Has anyone thought of a "new" robotic companion? I have been working on a cat design, and I was wondering if anyone else has had an idea they were working on?

HAHA Nice idea. I had a cat idea years ago called "Fe-9" but hey can't mess with the masters. I haven't thought of any others... hmm....

The only ones I could come up with were K-10(kitten),Kit-E, and  the one I'm going with right now, K@.

I love the body although personaly I'd smooth out the sides and make the head a bit less geometric but great start, love the rollerball

I remember a cartoon in a DWM some years ago, with the Sixth Doctor bemoaning the loss of K-9 (with Peri, I think it was) when K-9 stayed behind with Romana. So, he created a new robotic companion to replace K-9, and in the last frame it showed a robotic cat with the Doctor saying something like "I think I'll call him, Kit-10."

(And if you don't mind my saying so, your idea looks like a cross between the Thundertank from "Thundercats" and the Moon Hopper from "UFO".) Brilliant idea, I think.

I hadn't thought of it that way, but yes, it does look like a cross. I wonder if that time period has influenced my creativity...interesting.
