Gene Fender's plans are here: K.9 Plans.
There's also an active discussion forum for K.9 on the The Doctor Who Prop Builder's Club, though K.9s are welcomed here on Rebuilders too...

Are there any details in the plans on what type of whistle was use for the #2 K9?

It has been ages since I've touched the plans, but anticipate a much needed update very soon (but not this week). Besides adding the ears, there is a subtle change in the head - specifically there is some missing curvature in the profile of the nose panel. The alternate eye plate will also be added.

Does someone have a current link to K-9 plans?

Thanks!

Hi Kathy.
Nice to see you over here on TB.
Hope you are well.
I'm having a look to find the plans I used to build my K9, but can't find them atm. My computer crashed recently and I lost a load of stuff.
I'll keep looking, but hopefully someone will be able to step in and help.
If you are building a K9 there's some great K9 build diaries in the other prop build diaries section (Including my own humble effort under the title "Russell's K9" ).
Good luck!
Russell

Hi, Russell (and everyone),

I am good and still so busy that I cannot seem to get to my own projects. The older I get, the happier I am to just be on the top side of ground level. The rest will sort itself out.

A post on PDF reminded me that I promised the granddaughter that I would motorize our 1/4 scale cat version of K-9 (Fe-9) before she comes back for Christmas vacation. She and her mom moved to a small town in NSW, Australia after her mom married a gentleman from Brisbane.

I remembered Chriskingbees' K-9 and came here to see if KB was still active here. Sadly, no...

Be well,
Kathy
