So this has been on hold since august (apart from about 3 days on it in September) But know we really are working on it again.

He has had his first layer of primer ( there is still a fair bit of filling to be done mind which ill work on on the weekend)

The head and computer are ready for there first layer of paint.

But ive still not done any thing on the electronic side. so hopefully ill be buying 2 wiper motors in about a week or too (but i doubt it as i just spent £370 on a cod steaks Tardis).

Hey, that's looking rather splendid - well done in deed.  Your Fatuba unit, is that an aviation kit or one for a car?  Just out of interest.

thanks purple
its for a car(becouse its 40mhz) but actually says aviation which is odd

then i looked at the sheet to tell you what the unit can be used on and it says the 40.695mhz model can be used on any thin which is cool
now i just need to find a sutible motor (im think windscreen wiper like the real prop)

I had noticed that, but then I thought to myself that you've already done it, there's no point, pointing it out... didn't want to upset you or anything.

As I said earlier, it's looking great and I can't wait to see it all finished and looking sparkly and new - or are you going for the rusty blue?  I also like the RC unit you've gone for, I have tried to find a 9 or 10 channel version, but the ones I've seen are only for aviation which would be more than slightly illegal to use for a ground based machine!

Keep us posted on your progress.

yhe i was woried when i first got it to but the guy's in antics said it was for land and it is 40mhz which is for land only. now im thinking about getting a 4 channel version as well (giving me 10 channels) for other things like probe, lights and sound but i may have to wait to get a bit more cash lol

now i just need to carry on filling so i can start spraying him a nice mk2 gray
