Hi all, posted initially over in tardis map i think, thought i may aswell start a diary here, here is acopy and paste of my previous post
Good afternoon everyone, i have been lurking here for a few months, thank you for having me. I have just finished building my sons console he is 25 and has autism we live in Devon UK, we have not put any buttons or levers on the panels yet, I only put it together yesterday after spending a few months measuring and building and trying to hide it from him because it was a surprise. I have enjoyed doing this small build which is nowhere near as grand as any of your efforts but it has made my son extremely happy, as an adult with autism he now has a space to pursue his great passion, I will update as we start adding all the bits that I have been collecting for months and I very much look forward to hearing what you all think of it, but as I stressed before my efforts are nowhere near as grand as your builds, carpenter I am not and im afraid, but as I said my son is extremely happy I will add some photos here if I can and video.

They are the telepathic circuits that harry wanted on there, i banged my head for ages as to what to make them out of, then i have a brainwave in my tiny mind to use foot massage balls, they are housed in their own case and move freely,so perfect for this, i just ground the bottom-sides of the case down so it was smaller than the top part, holesawed a banging big hole that the top part would sit on and araldited them in place!

I love the amount of thought that has gone into the layout and design.  Everything is organizes so that it looks like it should DO something and you've also left some space on each panel instead of just cramming a hodge-podge of stuff onto every inch of space.  Even putting aside that there is a noble and practical purpose for this build, it's straight up a pretty neat build.
