As seen in Tomb of the Cybermen.

I had made one before but it was crap.

This was originally a gift that I think may have been made by someone on this very forum.

Psinting was a nightmare. I sanded it until it was silky smooth but after spraying it the surface looked terrible. I stuck all the bits on but couldn't live with it. I took everything off and sanded it again  ut then the Matt Lacquer dried leaving grey patches so had to paint a third time.


I added the silver thing in the top to fill a whole.

I had to straighten out and reshape the coil on top.

Bought mosaic tiles at Hobby Craft for the coloured squares.

The LED is a dummy I made with a washer and the ball from a lip ring.

I added the cog shaped dial control to give it some functionality and tie the design to the then TARDIS console.

Oh, and I added a pair of nuts where the coil enters the block because... it just didn't look right with the coil going straight in.
