I've read an interview with... I think the producer? He said they were looking over concepts and found one they couldn't possibly make and should never have been submitted but over time they kept coming back to it and thinking - what if?

In the end they went with it so that's a bit of the origin.

I think it's probable that the three while panels we see in the upper left of new special's poster that BBC shared on IG are likely roundel panels form the the new TARDIS.

I am really digging all the parts that are the same on the Smith/Capaldi Console. The DSD-7 Drives, the 360 degree plates, some lights and a few others.

Really interesting!

I am really liking this console and room. Back to the clean white walls and actual buttons and levers. Also items and details I can sneak into my console room
