New to this forum, so if there's a better place to ask about this please let me know.

I want to modify a 14th Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver (retail version) to turn off TVs using a TV-B-Gone kit; I've seen it done with the 10th and 11th screwdrivers, but would it be any different with the 14ths? I have little to no experience with things like this, and I don't fancy damaging the screwdriver in any way as they're very expensive.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Hmmm... There was one sold like that.  I think it was from the Wand Company (?).

No idea how you'd go about that as a  project though.
In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

There is a universal remote sonic screwdriver, maybe you can use that. Then all you would have to do is switch the body form.

I did try to get one of those but The Wand Company doesn't make them anymore, and the prices to buy them elsewhere are insane.

I've got one off these, and I have to say they are fantastic. Yeah, the switch is not screen accurate, but its probably better than the original in that respect. I love nothing better than using it to switch off TV screens in pubs when no ones looking :D
