Looks like one of the extras on the Space Museum and Chase DVD will be interesting.  It is a film made at Shawcraft (the outhouse builder of Dr Who props) in the 1960s.  The Restoration Team have a nice shot of a couple of model TARDISes.

Difficult to tell the size of the large model but it could be the 1/3 scale version used throughout the Hartnell, Troughton, Pertwee & Baker eras.
Here's a pic from Carnival Of Monsters. Looks the same?

Yep, that's the large model.  You can see the small model in the bottom right corner.  That was the one sold a few years back with the roof missing.

Awesome, was this colourized? Or is this the Colour of the Brachacki Box in this episode?

It's from an original 8mm behind-the-scenes film that Shawcraft made, so that's the colour -- of the miniature, at least.

This model was also a significant influence in the plans for the build I'm doing.

Hot on the heels of the last one, here's a double-dog enhancified version of the same thing.  I think I may have reached the limits of enhancification.

That's the colors of the models used in the 60's and early 70's.  I would think the dark blue on those were similar to the original TARDIS prop color.

Another shot, zoomed in on the littlest model and enhanced.

I've been waiting to see these since I heard about the footage coming out on the DVD :)

Superb images!!! :)

The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,

Is this the one also used in "The Web Planet", as the TARDIS is dragged along the surface of Vortis, viz:

There's also the more distant shot:

Volpone

These are quite interesting to me.  They are really inaccurate to any of the props.  They lack the pronounced capitals on the corner posts of the 1963 prop--much closer to the 1980 prop--or an actual police box.  But they clearly have the white phone box sign (with blue trim).  And they have a St. John's badge that is more pronounced than any time between the pilot and 2010.  On top of all that, blue window trim!

It's ironic.  So many people spend so much time methodically building scaled down replicas of the prop.  My TARDIs could well wind up a scaled up replica of the models!

Does anyone know where the 1:3 model went?

I believe that I'm correct in saying it was auctioned-off.
