Food Machine

So in the general mission of the Hartnell Console Replica Project included a Food Machine, ala "The Daleks".

Its by no means complete (as of December 2021) but here's the initial making ...

Every project starts with... wood and make believe plans (I guestimated the dimensions from William Russel's/Carole Ann Ford's height compared to the box)

I had a "brilliant" idea of uses bolts and blocks to create connectors to bring all the pieces together. I thought, like the TARDIS console, it could be an "ikea" style and collapse. But I later learnt this just detrimented the quality I wanted. So that was quickly abandoned...



...for drilling everything together permanently.

And thats where I'm at. I'm practically there. I have various parts for the main panel but haven't got that together as yet. Maybe when the new year comes after the house move, I can drag it all into one place and finish.

And finally get my bacon and eggs.

I wonder if the Doctor's food machine is similar to a Star Trek replicator? You know, energy into matter. Or could it be a chemical food, compounds mixed together for nutrient & taste. Like a pill that taste like chicken.
