My Tennant Console Project

I made these edges for my ribs to give structure and support on my console, it is apparent on the real console but it doesn't touch the panels like mine does, but it's a change I'm willing to make, here's some photos, enjoy

So I've made another edging for the rib on the keypad panel and I'm making some walls, which are made from packaging paper and packaging tape, best I could do

I've added some bottles to test the reflection of the lights in my rotor

I wasn't able to paint the silver side of my plates so I flipped them over and popped them back and started painting them brown, the rounders colour isn't brown and nor is the walls but when the tardis is lit, the lights make it look brown therefore I've made it brown as I can't light mine, for the inside of the rounders I cut up the paper bowls more and painted them a little cream colour and added a crackle pattern with a sharpie and glued it all together with a bit of paper in the centre

I've added my mini monitor back that I wasn't going to use as it seems to be my best option, and more bottles to the rotor, also I got some helping hands for the console which is an SA part

I've put an LED behind one of the paperweights to light the console up and took some more shots

My red ikea paperweight arrived and took the place of the orange one on that panel, I then changed the LED to a red colouring

I've made a round placeholder for my paperweight with hot glue so it stays in place while being rollable

I've made another edging but made a change to hold up the top of the rim and showed the process better and then put the parts back on, this is the panel which now has the orange paperweight on

I've placed an orange LED under the paperweight and done another placeholder to stop it rolling off

I've made another edging for another panel next to the previous one, it makes it look cleaner and gives a lot more structure

Went to B&Q and got some pipe insulation, didn't get nearly enough for the whole console and I got more masking tape to make the plant pot plates more accurate, it's extremely uneven and not done very well so one day I'd like to redo it but its better than before, here's some photos of the process

I bought some mesh panels for £30 mild steel and they arrived, and here's some photos of them
