why doesn't the Guide mention them? - Oh, it's not very accurate.

I often remark that it's too bad that the scanner was never used since its relocation to the console itself. I wish this had been the final refit to the Sharp. Afterwards, the more changes it gets, the more it looks like the pile of plywood it is.

I have seen an interpretation that shows a scanner set in the fourth wall. It does add that certain something missing to the set.

Just curious, would you be able to share a link to that interpretation of the set? (The Pyramids/Evil console room is my absolute favorite.)
