The Equalizer

I used to have two of these babies. I like them best of all. The switches
make a rather satisfying clunk, and the dials ratchet. I used to have long
rows of switches like that. Maybe I'll get some more soon...

Cardboard Model

The model had an underneath... but a bandril ate it.

Console Outline

A rather blurred photograph of a sketch. This gives and idea of the ratios
and angles. In terms of scale it'll be slightly smaller than the McGann
console. The top of the rotor will involve a tangle of wires... hopefully that
'll stop it looking like a stove.

Rotor fire

Collar

The upper and lower "collars" are made from tupperware bowls with bolts in,
painted with hammerite. It still has to have another coat to texture it a bit
more.

Wood Stain

Panel Two

The lights are sequenced, and the dial is connected to the left-hand knob.

Panel Three

The chronometer has rotating counters for time and date. The top push button
puts the lights into different sequences in green, blue and red. The bottom
switch activates the TARDIS sound-effect.

Panel Four

My favourite! The lovely equalizer box controls the light sequences. There
are also two set of connectors which can be used to power seperate devices.

Panel Five

The messy panel. The twin dials are controlled by the two middle red switches
and the black knobs. The red switch on the right powers the right-hand panel
which is another red-green-blue sequence. The sequence is changed by the
black toggle. The red switch on the left powers the left-hand panel.

Panel Six

The empty-ish panel! Hopefully I'll install a monitor when it comes along,
but for the moment Red, Amber and Green lights are controlled individually by
the switches. The lights flash totally out of sequence, and patterns appear.
