Tardis D
-Promo shooting for sereis 5

Tardis D is an other variant of the Ed Thomas box style. It features a thiccer base then C prop and a diffrent lamp made out of an achor lantern and the top cap of the previous guardman candle lanterns. it's clean painted with Subaru Liberty/sydney blue with white window frames. the pull to open sign is made out of a blue framed semi opac white sheet of acrylic with laser cutted black letters on top, so it can be back lit. the windows of this box can be blaked or be litted frosted white.

Tardis D on the beatch set of The Time of Angels in 2009.
if i'm correct, it was the first scenes shot for series 5.
i've seen around that Tardis D was used in a SJA episode grimed as the 10th doctor's tardis. so if true, i might not be the first shoot for this box but i'll have to investigate as it sounds very odd to me.

the best i have so far is the Tamborin's one wich advertise the same place, but not the same serigraph.

There's a strong chance the designs seen in the episode were mocked up by the art department... Based on real designs, but custom to maybe avoid copyright issues.
