Not much to say here, and I haven't found much luck searching anywhere else on the forum or elsewhere (at least, for a concrete, one-stop sort of answer), so I'll try and keep this short, sweet, and to the point for the sake of easy access to anyone that's curious.

What's a good thickness for a typical classic-style console panel? (As in, where the switches, lights, etc. are usually mounted onto?)

Thanks in advance,

I'd have said 12mm ply?

Also, just as a thought.

It may be worth looking at your components and seeing what tollerance they have on their thickness (if it's a panel mounted lamp or a switch for example.

But as FFS says, 12mm will probably cover all your bases :)
