Soooooo...
I was suposed to make the series 5 one, but i've messed up some mesurements by following the wrong plans. So here is the start of my A/B prop i guess X)
As you can see, it's made to be dismentable.
I'll try and do the D prop in parallèle to this one, i'll just expériment à bit with this one first and see where it gets me.
So far it's day one in to the build, i bought à rotary tool for cheap and it helps à bit. I wont give any name or advice, it's not à good tool.

Very excited to see this. I'm sure it will look even better than your current 2005 box

I've got planty help for it to work better. I'll try my best.

if ya look at the plans you'll see the doors are thinner than the walls in dimensions if you overlay them , and the top and bottor if the panels are built diffrently to the front

Little update, i'm missing some 2mm wood witch i had to by on amazon. I can't go Further on the sigh boxes yet with out it. I have 3mm, but if i knock of à layer it will warp, so not à problèm for the side panels, but biggy for the sign boxes. So so far i have 3.
Also i need it for the other boxes i'm planning to build simultaniously. So at last, not every thing will be repurposed on thèse.

Segway here is the curent À prop beside my old build. Nothin to crazy so far. Just à finner base. Conner posts are the same size and thicness. The big changes are in the sign boxes wich are 1and à half mill thinner. And it will be in the doors and side pannels miss matching look and roof later. So yeah... I might refubish it as either à capaldi prop or à A/B prop by tweaking it à bit. Who knows. IMG_20210416_181222_454.jpgIMG_20210416_181216_951.jpg

Edit: now that i think of it, i could either give it away to à kid in my street who likes doctor who and might like it às à toy and won't mind or notice the inacuracies. Tho it's à bit fragile, so he might trash it.
Or the à close friend of mind, but i would feel bad giving her à in acurate box. I know ecleston is her favourit last time we talk about it (still Smith era at the time) but i'm not sure wich is her favourit box.

So what do you think ?

Not much progress as been made outside of making all sign boxes and tweeking stuff around for the best fitting possible.

For now i'm foxussing à bit more on my D prop from séries 5. But i'll surly make the roof to this prop soon.

Little update, i've made à roof to the AB  tardis. It's pretty much finished at this point. What's left to do is à bit of sending and sealing, and the corner bits to had to the lower roof stack. Coming next shall be finishing the posts and the sign boxes, by hadding the trip for the pannels to rest on. On the sign boxes, i have to had some pièces of wood to create an edge for marking how deap thé graphics will sit, and on the corner posts and base, i also have to carve some grooves for the pannels to fit in. Then, the tidious time to make the side panels. Btw, i'm still looking for a proper interior shot to put inside my boxes. I have a good cristal and toyota HD ones, but nothing that great for the coral and i shall not speak about the couper one.
Any suggestions ?IMG_20210708_201645_418.jpgIMG_20210708_201643_792.jpgIMG_20210708_201642_669.jpg

Roof update, it's basicly finished.
Aside from à second coat of paint and weathering (wich will happen when the build will be complet, so all its cohérent).
Has you'll see in thoses pictures, i've tried and replicate the wood grain. I really need fées back on this one, i'm a bit lost. For the acciacy of the shapes and all i'm pretty confident. But the technic may need more pratice.
Also the wood on the post is less soft, so i don't know how well it will go.

So now for the pictures, here is a test on a pièce of wood.

And the current results. It's réversible with simple sculpting like i did on the series 11 prop.
