I've so far only managed to find 5 "City of London Police" Boxes on the 1950s map and tried to bring all the information, plus more detailed images, together in one place and include links to previous box mentions in the "Posts" sections.

According to scotlandspeople.gov.uk

City of London Police box c 1930 built by the Carron Company, Falkirk. They made the first 500 K6 phone boxes as well as pillar boxes
and the Edinburgh Police Boxes.

According to John Bunker from his book "The Rise and Fall of the Police Box":

"In the late 1930s the City of London police erected a few large kiosk type boxes of sheet steel.
They were painted green and had an amber flashing light similar to those in use on their pillers."

Boxes numbered as per 1939 Survey:

Angelus Lupus

Y'know.. that's a really nice design! The lamp even looks like a modern solar garden light!
A mixed-up non-conformist, trying to fit in.
