So people coming over tomorrow to maybe install internet. So started cleaning up. Moved the wall back into the shed. And now I've pulled something between my lower back and my groin. I'm hopping some ibuprofen and a meal might make me feel better.

But before all that happened: I experimented with some wood filler mix..... Would not recommend. And then a very promising experiment using roofing felt to cover the imperfections in the roundel depths.

Took a little while before I felt well enough to continue. I've decided I need to make all the parts lightweight. I will try to trim off as much access weight from the set to assist portability.

Soon to make two 2514.6 millimeters (or 99") tall Greek columns. 304.8 millimeters or 12" wide. The company around the corner from my house has been throwing these shipping containers out every couple of months and I've salvaged them.

Neat! I wonder if large tubes like those could be used to add depth for roundels?

well these are thicker than most tubes. 😶‍🌫️ I think if I had a set with a 20" outside diameter I would do just that.

I suspect it may also make a difference if they're used in a sandwich between the front and back face of the walls.

Awe ❤️ thank you Russell.

Now that I have the cylinder parts of the Collums time to make the slats.

Sadly my vacation is over and tomorrow I return to work. So I cut through a number of tubes to make several slats.

And I'm going to keep a few half tubes so I can make some leaver housings.

So as I gear up to do some more work on my TARDIS projects I came across a red plaid Long Coat online and I think it may be useful as a base for an 6th Doctor coat.

This is my first time buying from these guys so I will find out if this is a good service at a later time. But for now, it is my hope it will surve as a good starting coat to make a decent cosplay.

Wish me luck.

Volpone

To be honest, I'd probably go with a non-canon alternate 6th Doctor.  In the past I've leaned towards a much more subdued outfit, more along the lines of #1 or #2, but it would be interesting to embrace some of the rodeo clown style of #6 while not going quite as over the top as JNT did.  Loud coat, loud vest, loud trousers, loud tie, but not to the point where they are custom-made--strictly things you could by off-the-shelf.

I just need to add new lapels and cuffs. But I think a lot of the outfit will be fabric paint and felt. I'm going to ask a few of my cosplay friends for advice.
