Just found this pic. Shows Odeon Cinema.

If I was going to make a build of a box  I'd base it on this box as it was my local and I like the dims.

I've just got my self a Fresnel lens, from an old "Not Under Command" copper Marine lantern that I found in a shop in North Wales last week, that is 7 inches tall and 9 inches at the bulge ( only half an inch bigger than Banstead )

Fits fine on a 10 1/4 pizza box.

Wouldn't that make it Hammersmith Broadway rather than Westbourne Grove?

In the cities in the streets there's a tension you can feel,
The breaking strain is fast approaching, guns and riots.
Politicians gamble and lie to save their skins,
And the press get fed the scapegoats,
Public Enema Number One.

Interesting that the design of the Odeon is very similar but the Grove cinema was smaller than Hammersmith, but no, that is defiantly Westbourne Grove.

I lived in Notting Hill Gate for 20 years and that was my "local" Met Box.

Interesting point KB

Ah, you got me there. I lived near the Hammersmith Odeon for many years. I was convinced, but you definitely have the advantage for Westbourne Grove matters :D
