I am building a Tardis console

I am building a Tardis co nsol It is almost finished any ideas
for things on the control planers I have some vcr parts and
some swicthes and a life game spiner and some other stuff
but could use a few more things for it

Electrical parts places like Radio Shack or Maplins (depending on where you live) will have some stuff. Car parts are useful.
It used to be that amateur radio enthusiasts would sell stuff at meetings. Maybe you have a friend or friend of a friend who's into that... I spent a lot of time browsing craft and hardware stores looking for interesting stuff.

My own console has the following (among other things): Radio Shack switches, lights and buttons, wooden wheels, a cut-up plastic "for sale" sign, a fuel filler cap, model racing car wheel hubs, some scratch-built lever boxes, pieces of lighting diffuser, lids from plastic boxes, recessed lighting fitments, and so on.

You can do a lot by sticking bits on things and by spray-painting things a different colour to disguise their origins.
