Hi Tom,
The measurements I got from the perspective corrected photo are mostly pretty similar to yours, though there are differences of up to 3cm in places.
Hopefully Purple can resolve the differences - it's really hard to get good numbers from photos. This kind of perspective correction may be useful for getting measurements for the earliest console also, since as far as I know that no longer exists.

I found when building my console that the best approach was to make paper templates of the odd shapes and keep adjusting them until they looked right on the panels. It worked well for the Baker era console - not sure about this version.

I see Lungbarrow is back under ANOTHER assumed NAME and that the CAPS lock SYNDROME is still the DEAD giveaway of WHO he REALLY IS>>READ MY WORDS EVERY BIT.  Come on give us a break.  This website tracks your IP address so you can switch your name as much as you like but your IP and your Syntax give you away every time.  You are lucky we don't ban you everytime you post.  Keep it respectful and learn from the others. You do not have all the answers, if you don't like it go form your own group.  I believe I have the forums other moderators support on this.

I revised the figures based on the upper panels angling up at 20 degrees, and the lower panels angling down at 15 degrees. How does this look.

As far as I can tell the monitors used in the 5 Docs console were 10" - 11". Anyone know for sure?

They are / were 10" monitors and you can still buy the exact same models - only £500!  I did a bit of looking around for other bits too and you can still get all the buttons and switches, I even bought a selection as well, but hell are they expensive, £5 for one switch.

I was running the numbers on the cost of just furnishing the prop and it came to something like just over £10,000.  There must be another way around this.  Actually, there isn't.

How about buying one of each switch and casting a boatload of them in styrene or something?

Damn, I ws going to say that Cy!

I suppose there must be a limit to how many functions you could actual assign to all those buttons and switches if they were all real working.

Some dummy ones would work out cheaper and save a hell of a lot of soldering!

To be honest I always kinda thought that 95% of those switches were just glued on the panels...?  ???

Yeah, most of them are stuck on and don't actually do anything - and yes I did consider catsting them up too, but it more or less works out to the same cost.  I'll see what happens when I get around to all this.

Where? Is this the Silver Nemesis American behind-the-scenes programme currently included on the later VHS release of Silver Nemesis?
