Hordriss' Cyber Things

So lately I've found myself making a few different Cyber things - ships, custom figures etc. so thought I'd post a few pics.

We begin with the Cyber Leader and Cyber Planner. The planner is based on those seen in Wheel in Space and The Invasion and yes it's made of lego, it was easier that way.

Lego Cyber Ship. I love this design and was disappointed not to see it in recent episodes. I like that it isn't obviously lego looking.

That Cyber Ship is neat! I certainly wouldn't immediately recognise it as lego. Scale it up (and maybe add a few greeblies) and it would fit right in as a modern design!

Thanks. I'm not sure that I could make a larger one but this a nice size to go with other model ships.

Looking at these, it's easy to see why Lego has such a massive fan base. Your interpretations of the original props are just great.

I found after rewatching The Pandorica Opens that the sticky out bits of the ship weren't sticky outy enough so I updated that with the Cyber Planner. Apologise for the rubbish pics but I'm stuck in bed with a migraine.





If I was writing the tech manual I'd say the sphere housed the main power source and that the the large bits either side contain coils that manipulate/generate a field which propels the ship.

The Cyber Flagship from The Invasion. With a large tranceiver fitted at one end of the ship and extra power cells at the other this ship transmitted a signal to IE technology across the Earth rendering the population unconscious.

I've finally completed my first lockdown project - Cyberships from The Invasion.

Sorry for the delay but I was waiting on bits to finish the flagship.

I wouldn't normally use Lego for a prop or model without in some way disguising the fact that it's lego that I used but I like how these turned out.
