Some of my favourite Dr. Who props are those where the Doctor manages to cobble together a cool gadget using bits and pieces from around the TARDIS, and Flatline's 2Dis is just one of many!

I began by modelling the Sinclair Scientific calculator which was the basis of the original prop. I cannot thank davidnagel enough for providing me with all the measurement I needed from his original calculator, without which I couldn't have made my model as accurate as I would have liked.

What you see here is actually my second attempt as my original model lacked the calculator's rounded corners.

Next, I made the grey case by taking two cuboids with rounded edges (one slightly larger than the other) and cutting out a hole the same size and shape as the calculator.
