9/10 box? Do you mean seasons 9/10?

That would be the Ian Scoones box  but this was broadcast the day after Talons 6. So while anything's possible,  I reckon it's the Mat Irvine  :)

By 9/10 I mean the 9th/10th doctors box

Ah, sorry :D

I'm a bit old school.  I tend not to reference that way   :D

I don't think the panels look square enough,  to me :)

The box being discussed in "Whose Doctor Who" is very definitely the 1975 Mat Irvine Model Box.

The easiest way to tell is to look at the windows and - more specifically - at the window immediately above the phone box sign; this window's cross-rail is visibly higher than the same cross-rail on the other windows:

(Marc, you might want to move the next part to somewhere more appropriate.)

At the moment, it is suggested that the model which appears in The Horror of Fang Rock, Underworld and The Creature from the Pit is also the same Mat Irvine model used in Planet of Evil, Pyramids of Mars, etc.

Well, it can't be same model box - have a look at the windows and phone sign, they aren't recessed as they are on the model used in "Pyramids", etc. On the model used in Fang Rock, Underworld and Creature, the three steps above the doors and side panels have been omitted. Similarly the bottom cross-rail on the doors and sides is much taller on the Fang Rock/Underworld and Creature model Tardis:

Underworld Model Shots 06.jpg

I don't even think this model is the same size as the Mat Irvine Box from Pyramids, etc; I think it's smaller.

So, whilst this smaller box may well have been built by Mat Irvine, it isn't the same one used in Pyramids, etc.

I've given the subtitle "Mat Irvine Mk 2 Box"
to The Horror of Fang Rock, Underworld and The Creature from the Pit.
Nice observation Tony.  :D

No Nate, I don't think so - look at the roof section on both models; the roof on the Planet of Giants' model has no step between the tops of the corner posts whereas on the Fang Rock/Underworld/Creature model the roof has a distinct step level with the tops of the post caps. The lamp is different too as are the sides of the boxes; on the Fang Rock version, the central dividers are proud of the sides whereas on the Giants' model there is no central divider at all. (And, if I'm not seeing things, the panels on the Giants' model aren't recessed into the walls but are actually thin rectangular sheets which have been added to them i.e., they stand out from the walls rather than being inset/recessed.)
