Who's admin/moderator for the Metropolitan Police Box Boards nowadays?

Hi All,

I'm compiling a special Christmas selection of new photos but have noticed that these boards have become very untidy...
There's a few topics in the Metbox Catalogue that are irrelevant and need to be deleted  (e.g. Z32 Parchmore Rd Thornton Heath) also a few of the photo's haven't been transferred to their relevant thread in  the Metbox Database  (e.g. P20 Bromley Road, north side opposite Shortlands Road, Bromley)
So I am finding it difficult to verify if any of my "new" photos have or have not been already posted on here......
The Metbox Database should be the "Bible"
Believe me if I had the administration access to do it I would!

Yours frustratingly,

Pete

http://tardisbuilders.com/index.php?action=profile;u=418 / Alan is still the man (as far as I know), and has been logged on in the last few days. Possibly real life is keeping him busier than usual.
Best to PM him directly, not least because discussions about forum admin are of little interest to everyone else...

I'm with Pete on this, it is a bit messy of late.
I log in daily and would be happy to take on some mod / admin duties to help pull it back into shape.

Firstly I'd like to say overall I think the mods do a great job. It must be really time consuming to keep a site this large, with this amount of info up to date. I wouldn't like to have to do it!
So hats off to these guys for a largely thankless task.
Secondly I'd like to say well done to Pete & Mark for offering to step in & lend a hand with the admin.
Gestures like this, where people are prepared to help each other out, remind me why TB is one of my all time favourite sites!

Looking forward to seeing the new photos!!!

Regards,

Russell

I've sent a PM to Banzai / Alan, so he'll get an email notification soon.
Probably he's just been busy with other things.

Yes, just busy.

But that said, Pete and Mark, you've both been great and extremely reliable in your input and observations, so if you really want to enter the fray I certainly have no objections.

Alan,

Also more than happy to help if it's needed, you have often referred to images you have but have not had chance to add / scan is there any way we could get some sort of team together to speed up the process as it feels unfair to put pressure on any one person and many hands etc :)

Cheers

Dom
