The Kenneth Sharp Tardis Console Plans

I love the plans. Tony Farrell, your work never fails to impress me. And by the way, karsthotep, do you plan on posting more images of your superb console?

All my birthday wishes since 1971 just came through. Many thanks to all concerned for putting this together.
I expect to be Posting on the build diaries over the coming years.

It's amazing. Truly amazing! Such a detailed and thoroughly researched gift to our community. Thank you everyone involved in creating it.

Oh yes much more to come on my build.  I hope to have some updates on it tomorrow.  Several more panels to go.  The fully completed console images you see are CGI and that includes the room its in.  In reality I have panels 4 and 5 completed and working on 6 at the moment.    Since there was no way I would have it fully finished for the ebook, slava was able to recreate my entire downstairs and console in its completed state. Amazing work.  I am still amazed that I was able to be part of this amazing project and offering to the forum.  It is a dream come true for me to have been part of this.

Excellent stuff but The link to the book doesn’t seem to work, anyone else having problems opening it?

No issues here,  link opens right up.  Try just going to https://kasterborous.co.uk and from the top menu select e-book.  It will bring you to the same location.

Boom! Worked straight away thanks Karst :)
I want to make a 1/13 scale 3d print version of this beauty so this is a must read :)

Wonderful! So much to take in and so beautifully presented. I know I'll be poring over this loads in the next few weeks.

Thanks hugely.

Well... might as well lock all of the Sharp console reference threads now lol. Brilliant work... not that I'd no any different if you'd made the whole thing up lol. It's reassuring that there are people willing to work so hard for others without commercial reimbursement.

Coming from a professional like you Thomas, that means a lot thank you.  :)

Well done Tony. Glad all your hard work has finally seen the light of day, mate

Not just my work Steve - don't forget it was you who researched the central column's electrical fittings and it was you who recreated the console's graphics too!

Those reading the piece will realise from the acknowledgements page that this is very much a team effort.  So, my thanks to you, Dan, Slava, Karst, Richard and to Brian and Christian for hosting the e-book.

(And, I managed to sneak in a couple of things no-one has noticed including a couple of my Pertwee and Delgado drawings!) :)

Excellent work :)  Will there be an e-book for the 4th Doctor's console?

Thanks for the kind words.

In principle, there's no reason why a follow-up piece covering the Tom Baker years can't be done but, this obviously depends on whether Christian and Brian judge the first one to have been a success (in terms of views and downloads, etc) and want a follow-up piece.

In terms of a time-scale, any follow-up will be a long way off. Slava and I still have to complete the wire-frame/photogrammetry on the Altered Brachacki Box and, before that, Slava wants to carry on with his renders of the Season 8 Pertwee Tardis interior and his turquoise Tardis interior renders.  :)
