This was supposed to be a quick build!
Next up was the glazing. as the other 6th scale boxes i'd built were of later versions of the original TARDIS prop, I didn't have any mould of the original glazing style, so new molds were on order...
Which I filled with "water clear" polyurethane
Which really does come out clear!
Sadly, too clear for this TARDIS, so I'll need to scuff them up a bit to make them more opaque. meanwhile I assembled the various sides together...
And brought it inside for some texturing...
(That's Dr Who and the Silurians in the background (Ironically the first Dr Who story not to feature the TARDIS (excluding Mission to the Unknown...)
Base coat of dark blue, followed various other shades., then add the windows and we get this...
Of course, I still need to build the roof!
