Made this quick little TARDIS Log Recorder replica from 'Planet of the Daleks' yesterday. I used the same kind of cassette tape case for the main body (which I sanded with rough and fine grit sandpaper to remove an embossed logo and painted matte black), sewing bobbins for the reels, painted plush animal eyes for the black dials, small adhesive pearls for two bolts on the clear part, a strip of aluminum tape, and a custom 3D-printed piece for the blue part in between the reels.
It's by no means an accurate replica, but given the little amount of reference material there is for this prop, I wanted to make it look as good as I could.
