Got to be my second Favourite type of box!!!   ;D

Not a design I'm familiar with (fun research ahead!) but it would make for an interesting TARDIS.

This style of box looks like it needs to be a Tardis and move like a Dalek!

Certainly the most bizarre box I have seen and such a radically different design from its neighbors in Newcastle and Sunderland

I see I've mention upthread about what an interesting design this is - I wonder... do we have a master post showing examples of all the different Police Box designs? It would be fun to see the variety at a glance (which ones were and weren't close to MetBoxes)

It can be a bit grim up north in some places. The countryside is beautiful though.

I always thought these boxes were made from wood but clearly they are cast concrete.
