Power of Kroll lamp

Hi, all.

Has anyone done a detailed study of the lamp they used in the Power of Kroll?
It does look quite different!
Did they forget to bring it on location & have to knock one up like on Revelation of the Daleks?
Does anyone know what it was made of?
Although it looks a bit mad, I do like it- probably because it has a great big knob on top of it, just like mine!!

Yep, they left the lamp behind and mocked this one up on location.  But in the following story, Armageddon Factor, the fresnel lamp was replaced by a blue police light.
