JW Tardis Plans Discussion

Im writing this as I am struggling to recreate the Brachacki & Newberry TARDIS.
As a late birthday gift I will be receiving the TARDIS Type 40 Manual. As I then am willing to model this TARDIS.
So far as I can understand is that the Handbook plans (in most aren't accurate enough) but I seem to be getting a "better" result than on the plans on page 2...
So I wonder should I follow the up-to-date plans from lespaceplie? Or should I follow the Handbook plans? The dimensions for the doors to me, at least are more realistic.

Well as lespaceplie said. Take the plans from the Handbook with a pinch of salt.

I have been busy yesterday constructing my own TARDIS based on the plans for the 13th Doctor's TARDIS.
As to which resulted in the whole structure falling short. The doors aren't any higher than round 1,90m. If that would be built in real life, most of the actors playing the Doctor & Co would have to stoop to get in!

So I took a screen shot, with a person of 1,80m, just to illustrate. So I think lespaceplie up-to-date plan seems to be more realistic.

The most noticeable differences are the slightly different roof proportions along with the very flat looking paint job the tpe replica has with a lack of weathering. This diagram is purely to showcase proportional differences :)
 
If it helps i have current base and height measured line drawings for the AWJ Show Boxes

after some friends of mine Measured The Jodie Box H prop at Maddame Tussauds Not long after Ncuti's 15 wax statue was revealed

it was previously at Blackpool on display with the Jodie Wax Statue before then being Jodie'sAWJ.png box seen in Series 11

I hope this line drawing of the AWJ Box gets added to the Index of other TARDIS box line drawings on this forum! 😁
