Introducing myself (and buying props and kits for my Tardis door project).

Hi everybody! I am new on this forum so I came here to introduce myself. So hi everybody and thanks to approve my registration!

I know this thread maybe shouId be in the props section, but last ones are too old. I registered here overall because I am turning my bedroom door into a humble reference of the Tardis one. I am searching The police box sign. Prepared with semi-translucent to let light pass throw letters, you know. And if it is possible also a kit with leds and sound. I am not sure if I can link here YT links, hope there's no problem, but it be useful to put an example of the kit I want. The box is a priority. Thanks in advance and sorry for the inconveniences and my english.

Hopefully one of the more tech-savvy posters here will see this thread because lights and sounds are over my head. There was one poster, ages ago, that did a TARDIS office door and I feel like it had sounds. He had a cardboard Iron Man suit too, IIRC. And there was at least one other TARDIS door (to a kid's bedroom?) build here.

It's kind of hard to find a "kit," because the BBC doesn't seem to have a lot of interest in licensing something like that and especially here, we can't promote unlicensed Dr. Who products (because the BBC *does* have a lot of interest in protecting its IP).

Thanks for the info! Hope it so. I guess you don't remember the name...

I don't know if publish this on "Props from the shops" as well because if there's not a sound light kit the box is the first I need and I'll add regular leds for the moment and add the sound in a future. But first is first and this is the "Police Public Call Box" sign box. Do you know if anybody sells only this?

OK. Took a shot at searching the board for "Iron Man" and found him: phillbarron. I'd forgotten that he apparently did a build and then moved and moved/adapted his build. Can't find the original build and since we've changed board software a couple times a lot of the links don't work, but just scanning, his posts, he may have some ideas you're looking for:

I moved house.

Following the excellent advice offered by your good selves, I brought the bits of TARDIS with me even though the current doorway is 7cm too small. Basically the door overlap by the width of an entire stile:

My daughter and I are creating short films themed around whichever Doctor Who episode is currently being rewatched on the #LockdownDoctorWho Twitter watchalong.

This is the one we did for The Eleventh Hour:

If you look up his profile and then drill in for posts by him, he's commented on other builds with ideas and suggestions that could help you out possibly.

I am not sure if I understood all. If you are talking about the door itself it's done. What I need now is lights (and sound) kits and the very top panel over the door that reads "Police Public Call Box". Thanks anyway and sorry if I misunderstood!
