British Metal Ammo Box / Can

I'm doing a little research on the British Metal Ammo Box, or Can. Two different box's were used in Spearhead & Terror of the Auton's.

I searched around for images, & this was the best I could find.



Anyone know of any videos or how to blogs on how to make a metal ammo box out of plastic or wood?
Now that I think of it, anyone who has a 3D printer can make a small version of the energy unit & ammo box. (hint hint)

I found some measurements. 17 3/4" w x 10 1/4" h 10 1/4
Dose that sound right for the box in the Terror Of The Autons episode?

I wonder if I can make it out of PVC?

Thanks for the suggestion, 8) but I'm working on a lo budget. That & I'm trying to work out the creative angel to making a box. Like a cardboard or plastic replica of the box. Just to see If I can do it. Thanks again.
