Found this randomly, it's an AWJ TARDIS. I'm assuming it's a replica? It's getting renovated in Cambridge apprently, would love to see it restored though! As, seeing the current state of this build was really heart breaking!

Oh wow! Are there any more images of this box? Such a shame to see it in poor condition today, hope the renovators do a good job!

Ye gods, someone needs to get together all the tips for outdoor boxes that we've developed over the decades and send them to whoever was supposed to maintain this box. To be fair, apart from the roof, a lot of it looks like it's just trim strips that have come off but still, there's no excuse for a box that new to look that way.

My photos of the Ipswich (actually Grundisburgh) box in its original location from June 2020. I was driving by on my way to a job and I just had to park up and take pictures.

There have been other boxes there in the past, including a TYJ. The AWJ was just the latest that had been put there. Clearly whoever wrote that news article thinks that all boxes are the same.

Hopefully the person who built it will construct another one.

Apparently the original builder of this particular replica was going through some personal situations and wanted to get rid of it.

The new owner of this replica will now work on getting it re-painted. If the current owner is reading this, I wish you the best of luck in restoring the replica back to it's former glory!
