Hey all! I was wondering if any of you knew anything about these meter-type panels seen in a couple Troughton stories?

We have enough reference from tWiS to determine a layout for both of the 2 panels, but for tAS we are not so lucky. 2 of the 3 panels are obscured in the photos we have, so I'm asking if any of you know more about these specific props and where else they were used so we can determine a match for tAS' panels?
Thanks!

There's a thread about them on here somewhere. I'll see if I can dig it out later.

But they appear to have originated in the movie Daleks: Invasion Earth 2150AD, on the docking ranp set.

They then started appearing in episodes of  Who.

Daleks' Master Plan (communications room)
The War Machines (control room in a pit)
Macra Terror, Fury from the Deep, Wheel in Space (TARDIS again), the hidden room in The Faceless ones... There may be more.

The last time I've spotted one is in The Mutants, in the colonists camp. You can see it in the corridor behind The Master when he's addressing the people.

Any luck on that thread? I looked before I made this one and had no luck. Probably because I didnt really have a starting point of what to search, but hey-ho.

No joy finding a thread.

But here are my notes on where you can find screenshots.

The Daleks' Master Plan (Transporter Room-"Ep 5. Counter Plot")
The War Machines - (In a pit in the Warehouse, episode 2?)
Power of the Daleks - (Rocket Room P)
The Macra Terror (Episode 3)
The Underwater Menace (2 and 3 - Zaroff's lab)
The Faceless Ones (Hidden Room in airport)
The Abominable Snowmen (In the TARDIS)
The Web of Fear (In the underground base)
Fury From The Deep (base control room - including Mind Robber black, see Episode 5 cliffhanger)
The Wheel In Space (In the TARDIS)
The Mind Robber (Painted Black in the TARDIS)
The Seeds of Death
Colony In Space
The Mutants
The Green Death (Outside laboratory doors, Episode 1)

There's a panning shot in Counter Plot that shows most of them. Too blurry to get much detail but you can get the layout of most of them.

Found a match for one of the Abominable Snowmen panels.
Even better, it's got pretty good reference from the Faceless Ones.

That means 2/3 panels have clear reference. Unfortunately the final remaining panel is more... elusive. You can only see one dial on it in tAS, leaving many candidates.

From the reference of all the different panel types, I think I can firmly say the final remaining tAS panel (middle) is exactly the same as the left panel, seeing as we know there were two copies made (confirmed by Dalek's Masterplan ep.5)

Could well be. If it's the one I think you mean, it's definitely been modified.

But the question is, did they modify both? 🤔🤔
