4th Doctor cosplay

Hi all.
Still alive & lurking around the forum. Work getting in the way of doing too much "Who" related stuff, but I thought I'd share a couple of new cosplay items I recently got. I found a nice pair of baggy tweeds in a vintage shop, which are quite hard to find now, as most trousers are the modern slim leg.
Secondly, I decided that after 30 years of searching the charity shops, I wasn't going to find a season 12 jacket, so I got one off Ebay. It's a bit dark, but I like the overall shape & style. I swapped the generic black buttons out for some brown half football buttons, which makes a big difference. Hope you like!

You've got the hat just about perfect too. And I think if you had a makeup professional put the wig on (I have no idea what that entails. Spirit gum?) it would be pretty amazing as well (it looks like it should be a little forward in the last photo). Very nicely done.

Thanks! (Although the word "professional" makes me shudder & run a mile!!;)) I think you're right, though, it needs to be pulled forward a touch. I'm actually going to be showing off my cossie this weekend (First time in ages!) I'm off to Brighton Comicon. I'm torn between the two costumes. I'd like to show off the red jacket, as It's new, but the velvet coat is so lush & always gets loads of attention! (Hope It's not too hot!!!) :)

A longer coat is so iconic to #4. Even for "The Sontaran Experiment" he winds up with a longer coat over the sportcoat. If I ever get around to doing a #4 cosplay, I may do the more comfortable cardigan and turn-down collar over the iconic Victorian look, but I'll likely go with at least a "Pyramids of Mars" length coat.

Hi all. So I went for the long brown velvet coat for Brighton Comicon in the end, as It's just so lush! But it was super hot! (We do suffer for our art...) I had fun, saw Colin & Katy & met lots of lovely cosplayers. However, as it was at the AMEX stadium, I expected a much larger event. As it was, we were crammed into one small corridor, which meant it was very crowded & hot. Plus the carpark we had to use was quite a far walk from the venue, (despite the on-site car parks being virtually empty.) Good job it was a sunny day, if it had been raining, there would have been a lot of ruined costumes! You'd have thought a big city like Brighton would have been able to host a larger event.... Anyhow, hope you like the photos...c1.jpgc2.jpgc3.jpgc4.jpgc5.jpgc6.jpgc7.jpgc8.jpgc9.jpgc10.jpgc11.jpgc12.jpg

Dr Who day at the Concorde in Eastleigh. I always try to play "Dr Who Top Trumps" and get as many as possible. I got two 2's, a 4, 5,6, several 7's (probably because Sylvester & Sophie were there...) & a 14, plus a Romana. I have included some prop pics, too....I also got to meet our very own Fivefingeredstyre, aka: Steve, which was great after knowing him on here for so long. His TARDIS was the inspiration for me to build my own! It was a fun day. I also saw Carole Anne Ford, who still looks beautiful, & Matthew Waterhouse, too. :)

Great to see both you and Steve looking so well - a paisley scarf and question mark jumper suits Fivefingeredstyre and you look great in your Baker outfit!
Best, T
