Thanks for another set of great screen grabs, Nate! Those spirals look like some graphic representations of galaxies I've seen in science books and even on some web sites. I also wonder of the text on the screens is the code used to create those spirals. It could even be the character dialogue from the script in case someone working at the console forgot their lines. (That would have been a novel idea.)

And the "Paradise Towers" grabs... I never realized before just how skinny Bonnie Langford was! I think if she turned sideways and stuck out her tongue she'd have the silhouette of a zipper! (Then again, they used to say thing like that about me when I was working... "Take his clothing off, hold him up to a bright light and use him for internal anatomy training".)

I remember from my ZX Spectrum days that the "Qix" thing was a fairly common graphics demo amongst people learning to code on 8-bit home computers. I reckon someone on the production team (or, more likely, one of their kids!) was a big fan of the criminally under-read work "Advanced Graphics with the BBC Model B Microcomputer"
