I do not have a copy of the 1996 TV Movie to rip from, although I do have some files gathered up from various sources online.  Take a look here (https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B19n4KSR2W7UZFM3bnlIeF81RWc&usp=sharing) and see if that is what you're looking for.

Thanks, mrblorx. There were two "in-flight" sounds there (the one titled 'Paul McGann Version Ill In-Flight.wav' is right from the TVM and the timing of the "worps" is perfect, but like all of the other sources I've found sounds for, this one also has the background music in it). If only I had a way of stripping out that music. Sadly I'm not a sound editor, nor do I know any that could possibly help with that.

The other sound titled 'Tardis In-Flight.wav' still has a hint of music in it, and the "worps" are really too close together; however this is a new take on the TVM TARDIS in-flight sound that I've never come across before, so I have grabbed that one! (I think I've already got the other one; I'll know for sure when I check that sound folder on my computer.)

I'm also in the market for the TVM "sick" TARDIS sound without the background music - another one that's eluded me for almost two decades. But thank you for pointing me to that page; I did get a new sound that I didn't have before! (And that's always great!)

Removing music from a stereo sound effect is a difficult task, but with some tinkering and elbow grease, it's possible.  You'd just need the original music and invert the phase when it is perfectly aligned and leveled over the track with SFX.  I'll see if I can get to this later, but I make no promises.

As to Renegade,
All is well.  I took no offense but everyone should also realize that, as Dino said, these are ripped from the 5.1 mix and are not perfect.  Some sounds, however, are straight from Paul Jefferies himself (BBC Sound Designer).  The TARDIS Mid-Flight Crash ambient track is unique and not found anywhere in the show, neither is the Vortex ambiance.

As to BioDoctor900,
Will be attempting to rip this sound effect soon, but I make no promises.

Thank you all for the interest.

Thanks, mrblorx. And I expect no promises; I know people have lives that come first. (I'm the only one, I think, with that fracking military injury that keeps me unemployable and housebound, with little to do but work on creating that last St. John Ambulance (pre-War 4-hole version) for the Met Box builders to print out for their builds.)

All I ask is that if you can get to this, please let it be sooner than 20 years? (I'll even take 19 years. ;) ;D)

And thank you for making these sounds available for everyone!

I'd really like the Alarm sound from The Doctor Falls, as the TARDIS is landing as Capaldi comes to. NOT the cloister bell.

I'd like, some form of keypad sounds from the classic series and some different alarm noises pretty please!

Disco, have a look here (TARDIS Sounds Yahoo! Group). You'll need to join the Group to access the Files folder, but it's a free group, and there are plenty of sound files in there. Most are in either WAV or MP3 formats, which we can't post on TARDIS Builders. All of those sound files are free downloads.

The TARDIS Sounds Group is a really quiet one. So far this year there's only been one message posted, and if you don't want to receive any e-mails when someone posts to the group, you can just go into your profile settings and select "NO MAIL". Then you'll just have to log in to see if there are any new messages, or sounds that have been uploaded.

I hope this is helpful.

Hello!

Happy New year to you all!

I've tried a few links to access sound effects and some files for my Tardis project which I'm working on with my family but many links no longer work and the sound files on the drop box link tell you to ask permission to access them. When I do this it says there is a problem and the request can't be sent.

Would someone be able to point me in the direction of high quality audio files of Tardis sound effects and provide me with a working link? I have spent a long time searching for high quality remastered files but every link seems to lead to a dead end.

Many thanks and hello to you all from Scotland!

David

Best place I can think of, off the top of my head, is Tardis SFX on youtube. It only covers post-2005 Who, and you'll need to find a plugin or website to convert the video to audio files, but there's a lot there.
