Looks smaller than the proposed dimensions to my eye.

I may have imagined it but I think somewhere on the DVD features it mentions them having to paint 8 or so up on boards. I like that they're not quite right lol, almost but easily distinguishable

Is it possible those dimensions stated in that article include the frame as well? That would make the painting smaller than the stated dimensions, but overall, including the frame, it could be 30 x 21 inches.

If that frame is 3 inches thick, measuring things out on my monitor, edge to edge you can fit about 7 frame sides over the width, and 10 of them down its length:

3x7=21, 3x10=30. Take away the frame and you're left with a painting that's roughly 15 inches wide by 24 inches tall. (Seems kind of small when you look at it that way.)

What do you think? Possible?

A pitty Da Vinci didn't really paint several of them as the board the one in the Louvre is painted on is cracking quite badly.

It's ironic that what is probably the most valuable piece of art on the planet and as far as we know galaxy and beyond was totally unregarded by the man who painted it. Da Vinci actually moved to another country between starting and finishing it and is believed to have only finished it at all out of boredom. Now you're not even allowed to look at it more than a couple of seconds in case your concentration fades the paint lol.

I found a gold frame in an op shop recently and painted my own version, which I'm sure you'll agree is completely indestinguishable from the real thing.
